👩
Hi, I'm Anastasia!
EdTech Professional and Career Advocate

Congrats on being intentional about your career search — I'm excited for you!

I built this free Interview Practice tool for you, so I can be in your corner — even if I can't be there in person. It's built on everything I've learned over a decade of working alongside learners and institutions. My goal is to give you a space to practice, find your footing, and show up as your best self. You've got this — and I'm rooting for you!

If you have any comments or feedback along the way, I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn. Thank you for letting me play a small part in your success journey. 🙌

Built for mid-career and senior candidates facing a multi-person interview loop — and useful at any level.

Let's get you practicing

Three questions. This fills in your real interview — everything lands in Interview Setup, Interviewer Profiles and Fit Analysis, and you can edit any of it there afterwards.

And roughly what level is it?

Works with no API key. Add one later for feedback written in your interviewers' own voices.

🏠 Welcome

All About You

This app helps you walk into every interview prepared. Your resume, profile, and tools carry across every job (the Your Space tab), while each specific interview gets its own prep under Interview Setup. Jump in below, or take the quick tour.

Quick setup gets you to a practice question in about two minutes. You can always come back here and switch.

🧭 Recommended journey
👤 Across All RolesBuild once — reused for every job you prep for.
🎯 For Each InterviewSet up fresh per job — switch with the session picker.

This calibrates everything downstream — the questions your interviewers ask, the coaching you get back, and the resume level we suggest. Pick the one closest to the job you are going for.

Your Interview Data

Everything you enter here is stored in your browser — no account needed, nothing uploaded to any server. Use the options below to back up your work, move it to a different device, or export a polished report to review before your interview.

Downloads a backup of everything — interviewers, resume, JD, and settings. Use this to continue on another device or browser, or just to keep a copy safe. Your API key is excluded for security.

Upload a previously saved backup file to restore your full setup instantly. This will overwrite what's currently in the app, so save your progress first if needed.

A complete report — interviewer profiles, fit analysis, and up to 20 recent practice sessions. Choose PDF to print or save, or Word for an editable copy to review the night before.

Removes everything from this browser — interviewers, resume, JD, settings, and practice history.

Know your interviewers
How to Use This Tab

Your interviewer profiles live here — one card per person. Each card shows their role, what they care about, your strategic angle, and the questions they're likely to ask. Use this as your cheat sheet the morning of the interview. Click Export Profiles to download a printable text version you can review offline. To add or edit interviewers, go to Interview Setup → Interviewers.

Your fit for this role
About This Analysis

This tab compares your resume against the job description to surface where you're a strong fit, where there are gaps, and which keywords to emphasize in your answers. To generate an analysis, make sure you've added your resume in Your Space → Resume & Inputs and the job description in Interview Setup → Job Description, then use the button below. If you have an API key, the analysis will be AI-powered and more nuanced. Without one, you'll get a keyword-based comparison.

🎯
Add your resume & JD first
Add your resume in Your Space → Resume & Inputs and this job's description in Interview Setup → Job Description. Then come back here for your personalized fit analysis.
Practice your interview
How the Practice Simulator Works

This simulator lets you practice answering interview questions out loud, then get immediate feedback on your response. Here's how to use it:

① Select
Pick an interviewer from your profile list, then choose a question they're likely to ask.
② Record
Click the mic button and speak your answer. Your words will appear as you talk. Click again to stop.
③ Feedback
Click "Get Feedback" to receive coaching. With an API key, feedback is persona-driven. Without one, you'll get STARR-based best-practice coaching.
④ Export
Export individual sessions, or capture everything with Export Full Report (available in the Interview Setup tab).
Browser compatibility & storage limit
Voice recording uses your browser's built-in speech recognition — it works best in Chrome or Edge. Firefox and Safari have limited support. You can also type your answer directly in the transcript box if you prefer.

Practice sessions are saved locally, up to 20 most recent. Once you hit 20, the oldest session is removed to make room for the new one. Export your Full Report regularly to preserve a complete record of your practice.

📘 Interview Best-Practice Playbook — the 5 tough questions & 10 sharp ones to ask
Nailing the 5 questions almost everyone gets
1 · “Tell me about yourself.”
Lead with the value you bring. Summarize your career in 2–3 sentences, land one signature win, and tie it to this role.
e.g. “I've spent seven years building programs that consistently doubled results. I'm excited to bring that momentum to a team like yours.”
2 · “What's your greatest weakness?”
Name a real, non-disqualifying growth area and the concrete steps you're taking on it.
e.g. “I used to hold onto too much myself. I've leaned into delegation with clear ownership and weekly check-ins — and the team ships faster for it.”
3 · “Why are you leaving your current role?”
Stay positive and future-focused. Talk toward what you want, not away from complaints.
e.g. “I've learned a lot and I'm ready for more ownership and impact — exactly what drew me to this role.”
4 · “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”
Show growth that aligns with where the company is headed.
e.g. “Leading a team and owning strategy in this space — I see this role as a strong step toward that.”
5 · “Why should we hire you?”
Map your strengths to their needs, backed by measurable results.
e.g. “You need someone who can streamline operations. I cut processing time 40% last year and I'd love to do the same here.”
10 sharp questions to ask them
  1. “What does success look like in this role in the first 90 days?” — shows you're outcome-focused.
  2. “What are the biggest challenges someone in this role will face?” — positions you as a proactive problem-solver.
  3. “How is success measured on the team?” — helps you understand how to exceed expectations.
  4. “Can you share a recent example of how the team supported someone's growth?” — reveals whether growth is real here.
  5. “What do new hires often find surprising once they start?” — surfaces the gap between perception and reality.
  6. “How does the team give and receive feedback?” — tells you about the culture.
  7. “If you could change one thing about how the team works, what would it be?” — surfaces pain points tactfully.
  8. “Can you tell me about a time the company's values shaped a hard decision?” — tests whether values are lived, not just posters.
  9. “How has the team evolved over the past year?” — signals adaptability and direction.
  10. “Is there anything I haven't asked that I should have?” — a thoughtful closer that earns extra insight.
Pick 3–4 that fit the conversation — you don't need all ten. And always keep truthful, specific examples ready (the STARR method in the coaching below helps structure them).
